The Nobel Prize awards were created… through the will of Alfred Nobel, a Swedish chemist and industrialist, who was the inventor of dynamite. Since 1901, the Nobel Prize has been honouring men and women from all corners of the world for outstanding achievements in physics, chemistry, medicine, literature, and for work in peace. The first banquet was attended by 113 male guests. Two years later, Marie Curie became the first female guest when she was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1903, sharing it with her husband Pierre Curie, and Henri Becquerel→
